I have bought sea glass before and seen where the sharp edges have been smoothed over with water. I bought this product to make a makeup brush stand. I ended up replacing that pack of sea glass with the ones I already had, concerned that small pieces of glass would get stuck to the reversible brush or just the brush handle. Glass, rather than being smooth, looks like pebbles (like my previous purchases from Michael) are jagged shards of glass. Be careful how you use them and what you choose to use them for!
