Make no mistake with Nalgene!
Nalgene products are great! I take them climbing and have dropped them off a cliff a couple of times along the way only to get light scratches. The only thing I've ever seen broken is the top plastic lid latches, and that's mostly because I'm pulling on the loop to get it out of my pack's side pocket; you probably shouldn't do this. Probably. Even without the lid holder they still work - I just throw them away for home use where dropping the lid isn't a big deal.
