This thermos is better than it looks in the photo. The plastic is light but strong and shaped in such a way that it cannot be knocked over. The way the light goes through the plastic makes it really cute so I don't mind leaving it on the counter. (I wondered if it would be too red for my yellow kitchen). The lid closes easily and to pour, simply press the button on the lid without having to unwrap it. As long as you keep it clean, you don't have to rub it; However, you may need a bottle brush as your hand with a rag will not fit in it. The liner feels like durable glass so you don't want to drop it, but it should be sturdy in case you accidentally do it. The handle also fits a large hand. My coffee is still hot the next day. Great thermos!
