Review on Exploring the Best in Embroidery: Simthread Madeira Polyester Embroidery Robinson Anton by Wendy Rodriguez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great thread for my Brother PE800

I have bought both Brothread and Simthread. I've never used Madeira yarn so I can't compare, I haven't had a thread breakage problem yet. The colors are vibrant and have an excellent luster for a polyester yarn. I've only used this thread for embroidery, not general sewing, so I can't say if it's strong enough for anything other than machine embroidery. Although the numbering system is different, brothread and simthread appear to be the same thread. If you have a Brothread collection and order the Simthread range, you will most likely end up with several spools of the same color. I don't have a number conversion table for brothread in simthread. I wish I could find one.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
