With a ruler you can cut so many different shapes that you can make hexagonal quilts out of them. I love that so many different shapes can be cut in different sizes and the tips are cut with this ruler which makes it very easy to put the pieces together. You are limited to these sizes, although figuring out how to use it with different sizes is probably not very difficult. The quality of this ruler is very good - the edges are smooth, it feels very strong and makes it very easy to cut shapes. Edge lines with seam allowances make it very easy to cut awkward fabrics.
