Review on πŸ”Œ Smart WiFi Dimmable Color Changing Bulb - Compatible with Google Assistant by Sharese Mekang

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Consider these contenders to the top!

Okay, I didn't buy TONS of SMART LIGHTS. or tons of LED bulbs in general considering all the ones I've bought seem like really good buys and in the 5 years that I've been using LED bulbs none have died on me. I just want to stress that I got lucky with the brand/product selection here. The brightest bulb I own is the Novostella 13W 1300LM Smart Bulb. They're also rebuilt, they're super strong, so heavy that when you first put them in your hands you'll be really shocked at how heavy and durable they really are. However, these Broadlink lamps (hereinafter referred to as BL for short) are in no way inferior to them and even surpass them in many respects. I put one in a 3 headlight light along with the Novostella bulbs and you can't really tell the difference between the bulbs. The only way to find out is that the BL lights have a really nice slow response that's smooth and pleasing when they change in any way. Most other light bulbs react very quickly to switching on and off or changing color. The BL's smooth response is definitely a HUGE selling point. They'll also turn on if you ask Google to change the color of the lights when they're off. It's like the BL bulbs understand you asked them to do something and they turn on the color you asked for, unlike any other bulb I've had. With other bulbs, you have to command it to turn on at some point, or it must already be on, or nothing happens. However, they will be the color you cut for, so that's always a good thing. BL bulbs win here. Now here is the key point and I think that (unless the technology improves drastically and forces me to upgrade) NoApp broadband (BL) lights will be the best choice for me. TO" from now on, no questions asked. If you need to add a new NoApp BL lightbulb, all you have to do is log in with your BL credentials for the first time and the new lightbulb will automatically be added to your account. It's not required to add it to the BL app or other extras you usually have to do when you add a new smart device it just appears you name it add it to the room and proceed to lbvs no smart device that I've ever had would be so easy to add to my Google Smart Home!I could even ditch Novostella bulbs altogether because BL bulbs are not only just more functional, they also act as hotspots for each other or other devices that use NoApp technology So if I'm right it means less clutter on your wifi network as only one or so of these bulbs actually needs to connect directly to it and then connect ments and can send commands to other lamps/devices! Another HUGE argument for me to get these and try them out as it's a topic I completely overlooked as a new smart home builder to get started. How many devices my service provider's router can handle doesn't seem like much before it shows signs of congestion (tip: upgrade your WiFi router! And don't skimp on it!). So if I understand NoApp technology, this technology allows me to add any lights/devices I want and it won't impact my traffic as much as most other technologies that are currently in widespread use. To stop here because I can write a book about these lightbulbs and it doesn't have to be lol. All you have to do is say if you want to buy this is definitely a great option. Dear company, leader in the industry, great product with great features, yes you can create your own scenes, I say buy one and try it because I was very happy with the purchase of these bulbs and will definitely next year will buy more. in the very near future... Broadlink, if you see this, you better send me a free lightbulb. Just kidding of course, love your stuff!

Pros
  • VOICE CONTROL AND IFTTT - BroadLink Smart Bulb works with Alexa or Google Assistant (BroadLink Skill). Just tell your Echo or Google Home/Nest speakers to control smart lights. You can also use Siri on iPhone for voice control, or use IFTTT for more home automation potential. Note. If you can't connect it to Alexa/Google Home successfully with NoApp setting method, you can also set up BroadLink APP for the device first, which has quick access to Alexa/Google Home direct connection.
Cons
  • Out of style
