Review on 📼 Silver Panasonic PV-V4525S 4-Head VCR by Girish Underwood

Overall I am very happy with this video recorder. My old one was dead so pretty much anything would have been better but this Panasonic is one of the best I've had in years. The picture and sound quality is excellent. After reading feedback from Revain customers, I was already aware of the skipping issue when fast forwarding or rewinding, but I wasn't aware of how annoying it could be. Sometimes I'm in the mood to make a game out of it to see if I can outsmart the damn machine, but usually it wins, so it's not that enjoyable as the game progresses. I think it takes longer than usual to rewind the tape, but that can only be my imagination as I didn't actually time it. The clock is self-adjusting and easy to read from anywhere in the room. I like this function very much. In summary, I'm giving the VCR one star for the difficult fast forward and possibly slow rewind, but I haven't thought of bringing it back. It's a solid, well-made machine that records and plays back movies even better than I expected. Despite its small features, I would recommend this device to anyone looking for a quality standalone video recorder at a reasonable price.
