An impressive improvement over my 10+ year old set. I feel like most of the negative reviews are from home barbers, not licensed barbers. Every new hair clipper should be cleaned, leveled and oiled before first use and cleaned, oiled and adjusted regularly. All in all I love this combo set. These cutters and edging provide clean lines, fade and taper. I highly recommend. One cord for both tools is ideal for those like me who don't want to use fully rechargeable tools. Batteries wear out over time and I don't want the battery draining while cutting, that's a bad deal if you ask me. If in doubt, get off the fence and buy them. You will not regret it! I can always warmly recommend it.
