I bought two of these - one red, one black - and although both are described as 1" wide, only the red one is actually 1". This black one is actually 3/4 inch. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but the 3/4 inch leash seems small for my 65 foot dog. It's great for my wife's 20ft dog though, so I kept it anyway and will be ordering a second red one. Overall, this is a well-made leash (harness) that feels strong and durable. The clasp feels solid and well made and I have no problem trusting it to keep my dog secure in the event of a fall or quick maneuver. It would be nice if they came with a loop on the end of the harness so it can be used as a traffic leash and also as a seat belt as it is the correct length.
