I'm tired of the "I" sound. I wanted something closer to a detailed sound where I can hear the music than a constant boom-boom-boom or tinny thin sound. I wanted something closer to xm4 and better than the AirPods Pro or even the 700 on my desk. (Had some Covid work at home, shopping therapy.) I wanted a variety of headphones in my hearing quiver! I wanted great sound in a smaller package. They deliver. The sound is spacious. It's all around your head. That is hard. it's rich It's like my dad's old Marantz 880 (but much smaller). They sound so good I haven't touched a Sony, Apple or Bose since they came out. Defects? Of course. Apple and Bose are better for calls. But I didn't want them for calls or games. Or movies. I wanted her for the music. They have great controls, but you have to learn to learn them. Spit. They all work. You can skip tracks, pause, switch between tracks, turn down and up the volume - just like that. Nice. You are cozy. They have a tight fit. I added the matching foam and that makes them more stable. But tightness means – without music you can hear carrots being nibbled. Old school soundproofing. ANC also works to suppress low-frequency noise. Is it better than other ANCs? I do not know. Spit. The sound is excellent. Looks. Each tool has a specific use. They are AMAZING to HEAR while you work, while you walk. while you eat. For listening. For LISTENING to music on my desk these and xm4s. Period. On my desk they are a welcome change from the can. I LOVE HER. Edit - I updated the software as soon as I got it. The lag that users have complained about is gone. If you think they are overpriced (probably they are), buy something else. Finally, after using them for a while, I noticed that they don't block out wind noise very well when it's windy outside. I found it strange. I'm keeping them anyway!
