Make sure you update everything else or they won't work properly

Sorry I have to change my rating due to many issues for the price of false advertising, two they play well but then sound they are gross and you have to put them back in the case and that often happens don't buy them buy the big seinhezie impulse 3 they are great

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Update availability

Why can't they get it right?

I'm going to throw these $300 headphones out the window. I had the first version of these headphones and they exhausted my patience. You sound great. That's where it stops. Interested in connecting to and switching between more than one device? Forget it. The only reliable way to do this is to disconnect and reconnect every time, or just use it with one device. The online forum directs you to do this via the app. My app is the latest update and its menus do not match those on the Sennheiser…

A big improvement over the 1st edition!

PROS: Sound quality is excellent as expected. The equalizer isn't the most reliable, but it will help you get the sound you want. -- Improved touch controls -> You can customize it to your liking -- Battery life -> NO BATTERY DRAIN THIS TIME! This was an absolute deal breaker for me on the first issue. The case also retains a charge, although the idol sits for a long time. Overall battery life is SIGNIFICANTLY improved -> 7 hours (previously 4 hours) and 21 additional hours with case…

Surprisingly bad over in-ear headphones

These headphones had such rave reviews on YouTube and to be honest the sound and noise cancellation are excellent. If they choose to connect to your phone. The communication is disgusting. I've previously had free Bose Soundsport wireless headphones and the connection was so smooth and flawless that I'm considering going back to them (although the sound quality and battery life are clearly not that great, and no noise-cancellation). I've tried EVERYTHING to get them to connect when at certain…

Great sound, poor comfort

I really wanted to love them and keep them, but I have to return them. The sound quality is excellent and they charge quickly. The biggest issue for me is comfort. Or lack of comfort. They only end up hurting my ears after wearing them for about 30 minutes. They seem to be a bit smaller than the latest momentums and therefore more comfortable, but not for me. It has nothing to do with the diameter of the rubber tip. I use the default recommendation. This is everything except the tip, which…

Good sound but extremely noticeable audio lag

I currently have AirPods Pro, Sony WF-1000XM3 and Powerbeats Pro. The sound quality of these TW2s was good, and so was the build quality and finish. They sat comfortably in the ears, without fatigue. The soundstage felt large and I could see detail better than my AirPods Pro. Bass was acceptable but nothing special (Powerbeats Pro and Sony were punchier and you could "feel" the rumble better, especially PBP). I should also note that there was a slight "white noise" when nothing was playing…

Sound is the most outstanding feature

I have AirPods, AirPods Pro, Jaybird Vista and now Sennheiser Momentum 2 in-ear headphones. They are both blasting Apple Pods and killing Jaybird Vistas, IMO. I bought them for the sound quality, not all the extra features that come with them. They really offer sound quality. I prefer Hardrock, Zeppelin, Seether, Hinder and Chris Cornell to name a few. But honestly I can't imagine that they don't satisfy someone's musical interests. If you prefer bass that "kicks you in the face", then these…

Greatly improved overall package with small flaws

Tl;dr - they are worth the money if you put sound and build quality above all else. For those who prioritize ease of use or want the best value for money, this probably isn't for you. Apple Users - Buy AirPods. Android users - Get the Jabra Elite 75t. UPDATE 04/07/20: I want to make it clear to anyone reading this that 4 stars is a bit harsh; I would give them 4.5 or even 4.6 out of 5 but Revain won't let you do that and they just don't deserve a full 5 stars IMHO :) With that said, 4 days…

I'm tired of bad sound.

I'm tired of the "I" sound. I wanted something closer to a detailed sound where I can hear the music than a constant boom-boom-boom or tinny thin sound. I wanted something closer to xm4 and better than the AirPods Pro or even the 700 on my desk. (Had some Covid work at home, shopping therapy.) I wanted a variety of headphones in my hearing quiver! I wanted great sound in a smaller package. They deliver. The sound is spacious. It's all around your head. That is hard. it's rich It's like my dad's

Pros
  • Enjoy non-stop gaming with the new 7-hour battery life, which can be extended to 28 hours with the charging case

Rating after 1 week

I've been using the headphones for a week now. The MT 2 are still my go-to headphones and I will definitely keep them. The new firmware update fixes many of the initial bugs that most people complained about, like background white noise and transparency mode hum. They're still there, but much less noticeable. In fact, now you have to focus to pick them up. Higher frequency music was a bit boring when it was first released. This was also fixed with a patch. However, there are still a few things…
