I have AirPods, AirPods Pro, Jaybird Vista and now Sennheiser Momentum 2 in-ear headphones. They are both blasting Apple Pods and killing Jaybird Vistas, IMO. I bought them for the sound quality, not all the extra features that come with them. They really offer sound quality. I prefer Hardrock, Zeppelin, Seether, Hinder and Chris Cornell to name a few. But honestly I can't imagine that they don't satisfy someone's musical interests. If you prefer bass that "kicks you in the face", then these headphones should suit you. Yes, they're expensive, but they're worth it when you put sound quality above all other reasons for buying the Momentum 2 earbuds. Answering calls is efficient, but I could hear the wind blowing during calls. Definitely not a deal breaker. If only I had sound quality I would happily pay for it. The transparency mode is good when you want it and on par with Apple products. If musical sound is your main goal (from 20 to 20,000 Hz) then they should satisfy you. The soundstage is excellent, IMHO. As for charging, I really can't say anything. I charge it in the case every night and use it for a total of 3 hours on walks in the morning and about 3 hours in the evening. No problem. Cons: I don't like the material of the charging case (cloth-like) with a hard finish. I bought a larger case from Revain to fit a Sennheiser case, BUT THIS CASE IS ALSO FABRIC which is an extra step for using headphones albeit from a third party. You can use the headphones in two different ways. The way my picture shows keeps the headphones from slipping out of my ear, but they can also be rotated 180 degrees if just listening without physical activity, causing them to come loose. Anyone considering buying a Momentum 2 with headphones will pay attention to test reports. Be warned some of the reviews are BULLISH. Finally, THESE ARE THE BEST EARPHONES I'VE EVER BUYED! Yes, you have to get into the habit of blocking out all sound in your ear canal (it takes about a week for complete isolation if you're a beginner), but it's worth it. Another downside: you can download the free Sennheiser app to tweak the sound settings you prefer, but it's unlike any other sound app I've used. This works, but it takes longer to get the sound quality you want. Hope that helps! These are the best headphones I've ever used.
