I ordered this for my 5 year old who is currently wearing a size 5. I have a 6-7 and it's definitely big for him but not so big that he can't carry it. I would say it fits true to size. The pattern and colors look gorgeous and the inside is super plush sherpa. It's actually a much warmer feeling than I expected. I thought it would be a good fall jacket but to be honest it will probably help him in winter except for super-super-cold days. The outer layer feels smooth and water-resistant, but it's not at all harsh. The zipper also looks high quality. My son asked if he could wear it to school even though it's still too warm here. He finds it very convenient. I was definitely pleasantly surprised by this jacket and would recommend it.
