This is the second arm I have purchased and it works great with the wiper. The first was just a lever and the original reused wiper was never able to make proper contact to clean the glass. By the way, the standard lever was worn out and did not work. Don't try to save him. I couldn't get it loose with the special tools so I crushed it with a vise. Then I could disassemble it and remove it from the pole.
