This light offers excellent value for money, can be connected directly to a dimmer and has a beautiful satin nickel finish. Two installation/construction issues: 1. The notches along the back edge for the cable grommet conflict with how the cover folds in. You may have to turn the locking ring on the bushing to get the door to close. The rocker switch installed in the device is made of plastic and is only held in place by small plastic friction lugs. Wiring can cause the switch to pop out, so leave the wire connections on the other end of the box. There are also small black grommets for the junction box cover screws that are easy to miss.
