Awesome Headlights: Under Cabinet Headlights

I ordered 7 of these headlights for a project. You look great. They come with screws for mounting, multiple cutouts on the back for direct wiring, and enough room for your red nut (large) connections if required. Very easy installation. Most importantly, the customer is very satisfied.

Luminaire could have had 5 stars

Very nice lamps, except for a few flaws: the end plates are plastic, a minor blemish for the lighting under the cabinet (they are hidden, so what is the difference between them ?). You cannot connect cables to the rear knockouts without modifying the cable cover as it will interfere with the connector's locknut. I turned the cap 1/16" to accommodate the lock nut.

good light; complex installation.

I am very pleased with the look and functionality of these lights, however the installation was difficult for me due to the following reasons: a) there was not enough space for the standard swivel nut; I had to file one side to get the nut tight, b) the open end of the inner wires needs to be longer, c) care must be taken when closing the lid because the wires want to slip into the seam. I'm not sure if it will be easy for me to drop the wire cover when I need to change the lightbulb.

Excellent under cabinet lighting

This and the other sizes available are the best under cabinet lighting you can have. Unlike competing products, the xenon light is cool to the touch, long lasting, uses little power, has a low/high switch and the light is very comfortable and warm. The only problem I had was with the dimming, some of them in the kitchen didn't dim very well. So the dimmer has been replaced with a switch and the low/high switches on each block are used to achieve the desired lighting level. This is really very…

Great product, even better customer service.

We received this item and it was broken but usable. (The glass kept falling down) The electrician had it hooked up before we knew it. I attached a cable to hold the jar. A month later, a customer representative called to confirm the lights we had ordered. I told him we liked all the other lamps we bought, but one broke. He contacted his manager and they are sending us a replacement! Talk about good customer service. We have purchased several bronze cabinet lights and have been very happy with…

Good value for money but some design issues

This light offers excellent value for money, can be connected directly to a dimmer and has a beautiful satin nickel finish. Two installation/construction issues: 1. The notches along the back edge for the cable grommet conflict with how the cover folds in. You may have to turn the locking ring on the bushing to get the door to close. The rocker switch installed in the device is made of plastic and is only held in place by small plastic friction lugs. Wiring can cause the switch to pop out, so…

Great lights! for lighting and ceiling fans

We bought 7 of these in different sizes to use under kitchen cabinets after the granite worktops were installed. They have a high and low switch and put out a decent amount of light. They're not as bright as fluorescent, but I didn't want anything as flashy. They give a lot of light for work and I'm a light lover! They also have a switch, which comes in handy if you have all your lights connected to one switch like I have. I had it professionally installed in January 2008 and the only thing the
