was purchased to make earmolds for medical professionals to keep gums out of ears. They SHOULD look like in the photo. Buttons were hard to find back then. What I bought was a BIG lot and I figured that with that BIG lot I would find at least 20 or 30 that would fit together and be strong, but that didn't happen. Most of them were SMALL, and even the smallest rubber band couldn't bypass them, rendering them useless. Big buttons in a bag that rarely matches. Maybe because of a HUGE bag of mismatched buttons. I found around 10-15 big enough to get the job done. It was a waste of money. I was just trying to help the healthcare workers. And only about 10-15 help in a big hospital. Disappointment. It seemed like so many people wanted to do the same thing that the price gouging was unnecessary. During the pandemic they were needed by healthcare workers who saw their faces and ears were SO SICK and turning red.
