Since these are separate mounts, you can arrange them as needed and place them where you need them. I've had a few in the past that didn't work because the hooks had to close on the strip and that's why you sometimes lose a clip or two when trying to hang. This is of course not a problem with this product. This item is convenient because it works. Clamp holders are durable. At first I thought it was too small to hold a broomstick etc. But it still wouldn't hold anything larger than an inch in diameter. It has a maximum holding weight of 26 pounds. I've had a few items hanging for days and the handle has been strong and stable so far. What is held with a tie does not slip off. Each collar has a hook on the side for you to hang a towel, rag, fly swatter, etc. Over time I saw how the handle could break. So I drilled a hole in the bracket and installed some molly screws to give them extra support. I'm sure they can hold over 26lbs now but it's not necessary. Pulling the broomstick out of the clamps with just glue was just waiting for failure in my opinion. I could not find any guarantees in the product information or in the product description.
