Review on BarnwoodUSA 8x10 Rustic Picture Frame: Farmhouse 🖼️ Style, Signature Molding, 100% Reclaimed Wood, Natural Weathered Gray by Audrey West

The product description included a photo of this frame with a beveled/carved edge (not sure if the word is correct). For this I got a completely flat frame. There are times when the flat look suits the particular painting I'm using it for well enough, so I don't want to mess with the return, but I would have preferred the carved frame shown in the product listing. It's really upsetting to receive something completely different from what is pictured. Also, the cut edges closest to the glass are totally unfinished, and since they were recently cut, they don't have the same weathered appearance as the frame's other surfaces, making it unbalanced. Builders could also have painted these edges black or gray, which would have better suited the weathered gray look. In fact, it looks like someone cut him in a hurry. I love aged wood finishes and this could be a stand out product if properly finished and presented properly.
