Works very well. It's like magic, but there's just such incredible convenience in just pushing a button and getting pure spring water instead of tipping over a 5 gallon pitcher every time you need water and all the spills that inevitable with that method happen. I researched a decent amount of similar models, some of them were a bit cheaper and seemed to have more negative reviews for product inconsistencies so I decided to just buy the more expensive model and hope it results in better quality. Pretty good so far but it lasted less than a week so can't comment on durability or battery life. Battery life obviously depends on how often you use it throughout the day as well as durability. As others have pointed out, this is a fairly simple design. I was a little concerned that the battery model pumps would be too big and bulky over the neck of the bottle as that's where they need to house the battery box, but it's actually not that bad. Hand pumps may seem smaller at the top, but the convenience of being able to just press a button and get a flow of water was hard to miss. The flow is a good solid vapor that starts fairly quickly after pressing the button. Overall I am happy with the purchase and would recommend this item.
