Didn't work for me!

I wasn't sure at first because of the mixing instructions. Follow horizontally for majors and vertically for minors. I don't know what that meant. BUT I was lucky I was able to play with the colors and got an exact match! I wasn't sure I could make it again if I needed more than I mixed. I applied quite thickly because every time I ran the trowel over my faded skin you could see the lighter faded skin I was trying to darken. . With the help of a soft cloth I was able to apply a good coat that once dried looked like I didn't need to polish. It is written that it dries up to 12 hours. I did 24. Looked great! But then he said he wiped with alcohol and cotton wool. Alcohol? I took a soft damp cloth over a small area to see how stable this leather color was. It started to wear off and I could see spots of faded skin. So I thought it was rubbing alcohol so I found some cotton and rubbing alcohol and all the leather paint started peeling off. I leave crumbs of paint everywhere and don't worry that if I don't clean it all up, the clothes of the next person sitting in that seat will get soiled. Long story short, the color never got through to my faded Costco leather sofas. Not a bit! It was a paint/paste that only dried well until you had to wipe it off/buff. waste of money!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Good but not great
