Near perfect manual espresso grinder

***UPDATE 4/2021*** I'm having problems with my grinder after just over a year of use. The handle began to stick during use and eventually failed (popped out and was filled with metal filings). I contacted 1Zpresso directly and provided photos of the problem. Customer service was prompt and polite. They helped me find replacement parts from their website, a new knob and knob. Parts arrived west coast from Taiwan in three days. I should point out that the new handle and grip are a new design. It looks like my device was very early (December 2019), most of the photos I see online of reviews after mine show the newer handle and grip design. The main difference is that the handle is more rounded at the top and has more of a slope to lower the handle during use. The bearing on the handle also has a cover that was not included with my first device. The updated grip feels solid and I look forward to spending more time with this excellent grinder. Original Review: I recently got a Rancilio Silvia for my birthday and had to up my coffee grinder game accordingly. I've been making pourovers and aeropress for many years and always use a manual coffee grinder. I really enjoy this process. I started looking at big electric models, bothered to spend over $300 to get something decent. But the more I thought about it, the more I didn't want to give up hand sanding. The more I looked into this, the more parts that fail on electric mills are the motor or the gearbox. Neither is a problem with hand grinders. The 1Zpresso JX-Pro is in an award-winning position for high-end hand sanders. I've tried most of the top models and this one is on par with the world's Comandantes Lidos and Helors at a much lower entry point. The materials are of the highest quality, the workmanship is very high quality and it fits perfectly in the hand. I'm also amazed at the speed at which it works. It's significantly faster than other grinders I've used. The grind settings are easy to understand and there's plenty to choose from if you want to switch from drip to espresso. The positioning of the setting on top of the grinder makes the settings easy and clear. Overall, this is a solid grinder that performs very well at all grind settings. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a manual grinder good enough for espresso at a much lower price than similar competitors.
