I ordered this stand for a 32 inch PC monitor. was that this deluxe mount was made of good solid metal. I couldn't wait to install and use it. And then I started noticing problems. There are some plastic parts in the height adjustment rod, maybe fibrous. I would prefer an all metal part. The part that slides up and down the bar is also made of plastic. The second problem is that the height adjustment is only pulled on the knob. I was hoping it would be secured by some sort of locking mechanism. Bracket, pawl and pawl installation. something they call a height adjustment knob. It could be a pin going in the hole. The monitor does not sleep due to simple friction. A plastic disc pressed against smooth metal and hand-tightened to a handle poorly suited to heavy gripping and turning. A device I just don't trust. The third problem is that the flat vertical column that supports everything is a rather large piece of metal. And it's bent a few degrees. Therefore, any monitor mounted on it will have one side closer to you than the other, assuming the mount is otherwise straight. The biggest concern here is how much work they're putting into the rest of the mount. Then they go and cut off in key areas. Why? It's so annoying that they ruined an otherwise perfectly good product. I hope that Vivo will think about how the stand height adjustment and hinge plate are designed and work. If the entire VESA mount, hinges and part that connects to the column were solid metal, if the height adjuster really had some sort of mechanical fall protection when the vertical column wasn't twisted, I would use it. right now. I am disappointed that I have to wait even longer to start projects this mount is intended for. I will probably mount smaller monitors. But for anything over 24 inches, I'd say pass. And you still have to hope that you're getting a well-built block with hyped parts when you buy it. Much luck.
