If this tent didn't have two openings I would probably return it. It looks solid but is not built for an animal to crawl through. It is rectangular, i.e. rather narrow between the two tunnel openings. The holes themselves are quite high off the ground, about a few inches. So when you connect the tunnel, the tunnel will be pulled up (to get to the lightning), creating a barrier for the animals to climb over. It's not a big deal, but due to the difference in height, each time your pet steps between the tunnel and the tent, it will cause a deliberate pivot and flex point that will cause significant wear and tear of the area over time and possibly tear. Tent. It goes well with other tunnels I've bought from different companies, so that's a plus. One side of the zipper inside the tent is wobbly but I managed. very easy to install/configure. The raincoat is fun and easy to put on, although I don't think we'll need it.
