There are nights when my fiancee watches The Bachelor or Sister Wives or some other amazing reality show. Instead of making a fuss about watching another show, I watch this one too. Just not so stubborn. I'm sitting on the couch with my laptop doing some work! I've tried different tables (starting with the ubiquitous TV tray and ending with "Table Mate 2"), but inevitably ended up hurting my back due to the necessary intuition. Lack of back support due to the fact that the table is too far from the back of the sofa. After a year of searching I am very happy to have found this simple product. I have this tray's adjustable feet at the lowest level and place my laptop on the tray. Now I just sit and toss the tray (with my laptop on it) to my feet, sit back and get my work done. Of course, this setup isn't great for all-day use, but it's great for a few hours a few nights a week. Anyway, I didn't install a cup holder.
