Seventh grader loves sweatshirts. was very impressed with how this hoodie looks and feels. He said that he gets compliments on the hoodie every time he wears it to school. The inner fabric is comfortable for his skin (he has some ideas about that) and the outer fabric is smooth. It has been washed several times but the bright colors remain. I bought two hoodies - one features trees, the other is gray with stars and stripes. He loves both and wears them often. Boy 12 years old, weight 86 pounds, height about 58 inches, I was arguing about the height. He likes clothes that are loose but not overly large, a size 10-12 is fine for him, and he usually wears a shirt underneath with no problem.
