I ordered them for the wall and hung them. The first set had sections that didn't light up after about a week. I contacted Govee and they quickly replaced the same item. I understand that I only have a bad light streak. I was waiting after the Christmas holidays to swap out the bar and go downstairs and lo and behold. in less than 12 hours the section blew diodes! Such a waste of time and money. The in-app timer feature works well, lots of colors to choose from, although not as rich as Hue, but I wasn't expecting that from a budget strip. They often update the app with better features. Unfortunately, this doesn't matter if the light bar isn't working. I have other Govee light bars that didn't have this problem and are much shorter. I really became a fan. But with this constant problem, it's time to go elsewhere.
