Well, not much to say about that. I bought one of the 5m cables and it didn't work at all. There was no visible damage so I had no reason to believe it was defective in any way, but it certainly was. I've tried this with three different Macs by connecting a Lexmark printer. Neither Mac even recognized that it was connected. Garbage. I suppose these are minor things, but it particularly annoyed me. since I paid for overnight delivery and came to the customer's site to connect their printer. I took the time to carefully route the cord along the wall and tucked it away a bit for tidiness. Only to find it didn't work and had to be removed. I wasted shipping costs, time and gas (driving to the customer's house). What followed was a bit embarrassing. Of course they offer me a refund if I send it back - I got it back in the box, with a return label and such. and for a few weeks it has been lying next to my desk, under a pile of much more important things. I obviously don't feel very motivated to drive to a UPS store to drop off a package and get a $4.50 refund. guess I'll get to that soon.
