I have used this cable to connect to a remote hub and have had constant problems with all my USB devices even interfering with my Vista OS such that the PC would not even boot until I unplugged all the USB peripherals, presumably due to signal loss distance. I go to Best Buy and they want a lot for each computer cable. I go to Revain and they are cheaper in price and basically do the same thing as BB. Well, it's hard to get too carried away with a basic cable, but it was a good deal. Very fast cable - data seems to transfer faster than the parallel printer cable I've used before. The white color is a bonus as some of the cord is visible along the edge of my floor; Now it is combined with wall decoration. I have not had any problems with daily use for a month, I use it with a HP laser printer when connected directly to my wifi router to share it on my network.
