Clever design. Shape and size make it easier for children to handle and offer a good grip. Exfoliates well. The only thing that bothers me is the sharp blade. The seller stated in the description that the blade is sharp and also provided a durable blade sheath. However, I accidentally cut myself after washing the vegetable peeler just as my finger was touching the blade, so I would be careful giving it to a child under 8-10 years old.
- Since children tend to use unnecessary force if the blade is not sufficiently sharp, the blade is made of stainless steel, as is the case with other kitchen knives.
- Doubtful purchase for the elderly
