Made in USA. I purchased a replacement kit marked NSK as a Pentair replacement based on a previous review. It's stupid to even compare them. I started returning cheap Chinese ball joints when the neighbor's pump started squeaking too. Starting with my pump. Like day and night. Although I couldn't tell my pump was working, its motor hummed like a can opener. He's very happy he saved a pack to buy me lunch. Lots of play and play in Chinese bearings and cheap oil paper. NSK all-metal, weatherproof. I filled them with lithium grease out of habit and for efficient heat transfer to the motor housing rather than the need for lubrication. Thanks to a previous buyer who reviewed them.
