I bought this locally as I like to do it when I can. Trying to hang from the side of a standard tank is a big problem. First, the "curved" portion of the aluminum hangers will not fit through the designated plastic slots on the rearing tank, second, the "45 degree arc" at the top is too shallow to attach to the aquarium, and third, it floats up. What's wrong with it? Solution: Short-nosed pliers smooth out the "curves" so the hangers fit through the slots. Then I bent them slightly to keep them from slipping back. I then made another 45 degree bend at the top of the hanger so it clamps the rim of the reservoir. I put some rocks in this thing to keep it from floating and when the hangers wanted to move around the rim of the tank I put some of this blue goo on the tank under the hangers. Don't forget to take the damn thing off. On the front of your tank you can see your Betta or any other fish you have for him. :) Of course I hope I'm clear, but whatever. I will never buy this crazy device again, and you also need to find something that doesn't require post-processing before you can use it.
