I saw a video about this product on a tech site. It looked very cool and practical. I ordered a product from Orange and I was excited to receive it. I summarize assembly and installation as a cross between building a truckload of the worst Ikea products ever made and waterboarding. unit revolution. The only problem is that there are 3 screws holding the main unit and extension together, but it's almost impossible to put them together without the screws falling out. I'm very good with tools and almost threw my toolbox out the window after 2 hours of fiddling. Second, if your bike's handlebars are wider than 23 inches (most mountain bikes), even an extender won't give you enough clearance from the wall. I fixed problems 1 and 2 by first attaching the extension to a 1" piece of plywood and then connecting the main piece. The plywood gave enough clearance for the handles and allowed gravity to be used to hold the 3 screws in place while the main unit was attached. I also figured that 7 screws and wall anchors would hold the entire assembly more securely. That brings me to problem 3. Third, I finally got the device together and hung up my bike. Everything looked fine, but I was starting to think about console powers. I removed the bike and checked the wall mounts - no problem. I put the bike back on the rack and pushed down on the handlebars VERY gently. The top four anchors, each weighing 25 pounds, began to detach from the wall. I was lucky enough to catch the bike and get on before they fell too far. If I were to use the specified setup - just 3 wall anchors - I couldn't imagine this unit holding a tricycle. I like the idea of this device but I give up. I can't return it as it's a bit worn from the building process. I will try the 50 lb wall anchors and see if that works but I would not recommend this product to anyone who is sensitive to their sanity or time.
