Poor penetration

I was glad to get this punch but after using it several times with different paper thicknesses, I am frustrated. Even running it through my big bump a few times, the tiny holes don't come out clean. I ended up having to poke each little hole with a toothpick. I also had to do the same thing to erase the matrix before trying it on another sheet of paper. I feel I made a good attempt but cannot recommend this matrix. I have others from the same company and they are doing fine
