Useless for Automotive, Waste of Money

This product was a complete waste of money and time for our Automotive needs. Based on our own experience, it was not even close to being waterproof .We installed it as directed, but it failed the first time it came into contact with water. The only good thing we can say is that it was easy to install. However, it's not worth buying if it's not going to work as advertised. Save your money and look elsewhere for a reliable waterproof cigarette connection..
