Review on ⌚ Timex Expedition Digital Chrono Alarm Timer 39mm Watch: Reliable Outdoor Timekeeping with Versatile Features by Haydee Strickland

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Multifunctional, economical, waterproof, easy to read Timex watch, ultra-accurate digital watch.

. This watch and bracelet are very light, about 35g, which is about 7 US nickels. The strap has black leather where it connects to the case. The bracelet is made of black nylon and has a metal clasp. Case dimensions and strap width are already listed on Revain. The hour and minute numbers are large. They are a black LCD that turns green on a gray background during "INDIGLO" and the entire display is very easy to read in sunlight or in the dark. This watch is water resistant to 100m and shockproof. This watch has both 12-hour and 24-hour displays. It has 2 time zones that can be easily switched between. I found this feature very useful when traveling. It has a chronograph with an accuracy of 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds in increments of 1 hundredth of a second. 59 seconds in increments of 1 hundredths of a second. Not sure how many times/laps they can track but I believe up to 99. This watch has 3 alarms, a timer and an hourly chime. The alarm is easy to install. The hourly alarm is easy to turn on or off. Have been using this watch for 1 year. These clocks are so accurate that the time is only corrected when daylight saving time changes to standard time. I only set the time three times, initially and for these two time changes. The time is still within a minute. The battery is original and works perfectly. This watch is the most accurate watch I have ever owned, in 2.5 years it has been so accurate that I really only have to adjust it twice a year when the time changes from winter to summer time. Surprisingly accurate. The battery eventually died, so I bought a Timex Expedition replacement in February 2019. All functions worked like new. There are only a few scratches on the dial, I wear it all the time. Compared to the Timex Ironman, the time display is longer and the date and day of the week are slightly shorter. The expedition strap can be replaced with a one-piece strap, like on the Ironman, and I find it more comfortable. I still have this watch as it only needs a $7 battery change, everything else seems new, the band had no issues. I bought a replacement for this and I hope it is as accurate as the original. Bought both Revain watches as they were in good condition and saved $15 off the new price, the only difference was the packaging. What offer. Less than optimal: 1) This watch has an acrylic, not mineral, dial window that had minor scratches. 2) The original lacked user instructions, although its settings and usage are mostly intuitive, making it easier to set up. This Timex Men's Expedition digital watch for men, model T49992, is medium in size. I wouldn't call it a business dress watch, but it's a damn good fashion watch. The Replacement Expedition has a slightly different hull, but isn't a deal breaker. Again, I hope this replacement is as accurate and durable as the first.
