I did not purchase this product for tattoo care. I actually bought this for my nipples. I have nipple piercings and have had some issues with my skin getting dry throughout the day. I've heard some people with the same problem claiming that they use tattoo paste on the skin around the piercing to help moisturize it. That worked wonders for me. My piercing looks less dry. I had a piercing for almost 2 years and didn't put it next to the hole itself. I used this product for my areola. I didn't use this when my piercing was less than a year old. I do not recommend anyone to use this for their piercing without first consulting a professional. And like I said, don't put that next to a piercing hole. This worked great for me for the purpose I was using it for. You don't need much, a small amount lasts most of the day.
