I chose this option after complaining to a friend at work that my neck was sore during the pandemic period from the constantly staring at my laptop started to hurt I don't have room on my desk for a monitor. He suggested getting a laptop stand and using an external keyboard/mouse. Choose this one because it folds up for easy storage when not in use. Stand as described, metal construction, foam padding to protect your laptop and prevent it from sliding around on the table. There's also a handy carry case (bonus, not listed in the description). I'm happy to report that after a few days of use I no longer have neck pain when using my laptop.
