Review on Citronella Incense Sticks - 120 Count by Betsy Tran

I like these for incense sticks and incense holders

In early summer I bought various combustible insect repellents (coils, large sandalwood incense sticks, etc.). I wanted to try different ones and see what I like best. It was a winner! Here are the pros and cons: Pros: 1) It worked like any other to keep biting critters away from me. They actually all seemed to work pretty well. I would feel itchy from the constant bites and then remember to take it easy. The bites stopped immediately! 2) Less clutter! Any of these burning repellents will shed ash, but since these are standard sized incense sticks, they're perfect for the incense burners I already had. Ash is easy to collect and dispose of. The rest either fell on the table or in a plant container, or I had to find dishes for them because they don't fit in regular incense holders. 3) The smell is amazing! I really like it as an incense and bug repellent bonus! Others just smell burnt. It doesn't burn badly, but it doesn't burn very well either. like smoke. But I like this scent. Anyone who likes the scent of sweet, slightly floral incense sticks will love it. In the evening I like to sit on the terrace and enjoy the pleasant smell, the sounds of the crickets and the fountain. Very relaxing! Cons: 1) Some may not like the smell. This is a personal preference. I love it. Similar to citronella, but sweet and with hints of spicy incense. 2) Off to 4 hour spirals. They burn just as long as regular incense sticks (maybe an hour?). Might be a problem if you're using them at a party where you don't want to worry about fumigation every hour, but in the short term "I'm taking a little break on the patio" is perfect.

Pros
  • Fits many people
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others
