Great tool, crappy media.

I have very few complaints about the instrument itself. I've cut down trees with this thing and it's hard to tell it's been used at all. She works. The extra length is more of a hindrance than anything else. Extra weight and unscrews too easily during use. But that's okay, because you can just throw it away and plug right into the pen, so you're good to go. My main complaint (and reason for losing a star) is the holders. It is specifically advertised as MOLLE. Well apparently they don't know how MOLLE works because it's not MOLLE. They are just connection straps with velcro. This means you can thread one side through the MOLLE loops, but good luck with the other side as it has velcro contact throughout. I've tried putting material in between to allow the thread to thread through and then removing that material and then the velcro will hold. Good luck inserting the other strap. It's too wide. If I could spend a few hours on this with all the tools at my disposal I could probably attach it. But to be honest, this defeats the purpose of MOLLE. I could just sew it up. Therefore there is no MOLLE option in my book. TL; DR: The tool is reliable. Use without hose extension for best results. The media sucks for the lack of MOLLE capabilities (despite being advertised as MOLLE).
