Wear semi thick socks.

These sneakers are good. I work at a hospital and they're good for walking. Yes, your feet will eventually start to hurt, just not as bad as if you were walking in a typical sneaker. I do advise you to wear thick socks. Not winter socks but something with a little thickness. Just don't wear thin socks. Your feet will move around which will cause the fabric to rub against your feet. I learned that the hard way. But overall, not a bad sneaker.
