color as shown (deep turquoise, closer to turquoise). It's definitely not as thick as the photo: the flat part on the back of the garland is the width of a pencil, and there are 4 fringes on each side, and the total width including the fringes is about 1.5 inches. I think the photo shows several rows of garlands in depth. However, it worked very well for our purposes, so I'm happy!
