Review on ๐Ÿ”จ Milwaukee MLW2504 20V Cordless Hammer Drill by Scott Rodriguez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

There's a reason it's sold so cheaply.

I saw the price under $50 and bought it immediately even though I have an old model. 1/8" holes with spade bit in 2x4 material drilling mode. 3/16" holes in concrete blocks and bricks. Finally as a screwdriver with Spax 2 1/2"#10 construction screws. As a drill and impact drill it worked very well, some adaptations from the previous model but drilled and hammered just fine. A little more power than the old one and it's useful. As Driver it's just horrible. Believe everything you hear about his inability to turn screws with the 'clutch', he's slow to respond and often pushes his head too low unless on level 2 (this is hit or "soft" start and stop have no torque which only adds to frustration and slows things down a lot an opaque movie (like the one you wear a t-shirt in) should lose your job I don't recommend it.

Pros
  • Power tools
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
