Note the LENGTH on the fasteners

Missing a screw when trying to fix a towel rail that kept falling off. The problem I didn't anticipate was the length of these screws. The matching screws (M4) were too short. (m4*4 and M4*6) are both too short and you can't just screw them in further because they don't finish flush. I solved this problem by inserting a much smaller bolt in the hole in front of the main bolt (like a gasket) and it worked, but the result was that the head was sticking out a bit.
