Review on GRACED SOFT LUXURIES Weighted Blanket by Mary Beauchene

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very detailed test, great product, 20 kilos overweight

(referring to a 56 year old F.) I like the feeling of a heavy weight on me when I sleep. A weighted blanket creates a feeling of comfort, coziness, and security. Helps fall asleep faster and sleep longer. Cons: For me or people with arthritis, tendonitis, shoulder problems, or weak grips, 20 pounds might be too heavy. At night I found that the weight on my shoulder increased the severe pain I often experience in that shoulder at night. I've also found that I have a very hard time pulling the blanket over me with one hand when I get out of bed at night and try to lie back down, or when the work piece slips off. I have to get up and get up to move the ceiling. There is nothing wrong with this product, but I think I can return it because the weight is too much. I'll try with less weight. All in all, a weighted blanket is a pretty cool concept! If you're wondering how it feels To get an idea of this, have you ever been to the dentist or under an X-ray machine and had a lead foil put on? I spent many hours in the dental chair. I found I like the print of a heavy tin sign! It helped me relax and stay calm during long procedures. This prompted me to explore the concept of weighted blankets. I have chronic pain that interferes with sleep. I like the feel of heavy blankets on me but I get too hot so this is a great alternative. It really helps me sleep better! I imagine it would be helpful for people with anxiety and maybe some kids and maybe some kids on the autism spectrum.
