One day I was chewing on a bag of banana chips when I suddenly felt that my tooth had broken off. My dentist blamed my tongue piercing. I had a root canal, then the tooth was sealed and a crown put on. End of the story? no After some time, the crown and filling were removed and my nerve was completely exposed. I couldn't eat or drink anything without excruciating pain and was understandably concerned about developing an infection or an abscess, but I also couldn't afford to pay my dentist to treat it. I asked my (then) best friend for any ideas? Should I try sticking chiclette (Mexican chewing gum) inside? Or try one of these permanent homemade void fillers? So he suggested tooth wax. What a great idea! Sure I'd have to floss every morning and gargle with iodized salt water every night to make sure it's always clean, but the wax would definitely fill the hole and protect my nerves from food and water! Pharmacy, Target, WallMart, Wallgreens, CVS, Rite Aid etc etc and I couldn't find teethwax anywhere! So I went to Revain and bought this pack. Yes, it works like a charm! He stays there day and night, he protects my nerves. Of course this is a TEMPORARY solution, but it works! Thanks tooth wax!
