I would have considered this earlier but I was so overwhelmed by the chemical smell I wasn't sure I could use it. If you live in the suburbs or in the country you can probably put it outside for a while, but I live in a high-rise city and can't just hang it out the window. Eventually the smell really went away. (although it took a LONG time which is one of the reasons I'm holding back a star) For the price it was perfect for renovating a table stool. The ottoman itself was in great condition but the entire top was torn between my husband and the cat. (and believe me when I tell you my husband did more damage than the cat) He's easy to work with and looked really good for repairs when I was done. I'd like to see how long the glue lasts before posting the final rating but if that's the case then I have to tell you that you won't find better value than this reel unless you want into something more serious and more expensive invest leather substitute. . It was easy to cut and place and made this ottoman look like new again.
