Easy to switch and save tons of money.

They are installed behind the glove compartment. Open it up and remove the wire on the right side. You can just grab it and pull down to unhook it. When you let go of the wire, it doesn't coil up out of reach. Then squeeze the sides to release. You'll have to watch a YouTube video to see what that means. After that, you can remove the glove box and open the filter cover. Down with the old. Putting a new one in takes a little faith that it will return to its original shape. It does. just turn it off This page also exists, but of course my dealer never bothered about it. With the new one in, you can wiggle it a little when it needs to snap back into place. Replace the lid, hook the glove box hinges, and then press the sides together to secure. Finally, replace the little wire that keeps it from slamming. Did. It took me about ten minutes the first time. The only really tricky part is putting the cap back on the filter, it goes in from the right side first.
