After the high humidity in the Midwest in July, it took three weeks after installation to get the entire house down to a consistent 50%. It's great that you no longer need extra cold, sticky conditioner to get rid of excess moisture. All that remains now is some duct work to distribute some more dehumidified air to the basement gym where the air conditioning is not needed. The unit is quiet enough and easy to install for homeowners with good DIY skills. Includes 10ft hose leading to floor drain.
