I've had a hard time finding a donut small enough for my shoulder length straight fine brown hair. All I could find was big and I didn't have enough hair to cover the mesh and it also looked ridiculous like Princess Leia's donut tied at the back of my head. This cute little donut did it. I can't coil it up like you're told either, so I just use an elastic band to make a ponytail at the base of the neck, then pull the donut over the elastic, and then sweep the hair from the center of the donut over the ponytail and take it Take the second (brown) elastic and pull it over the hair well. Now there are a lot of little pieces sticking out around the tail and I play with them a bit. Sometimes I choose a messy look and arrange the protruding parts in a playful way. Sometimes I go for an elegant ballerina look, take pins and stick the protruding parts into a pinwheel hidden behind a donut. Neither of these styles work with giant donuts.
